We want you to develop your skills, expand your knowledge and be proud of your work.\nPOSITION DESCRIPTION\nJob purpose\nThe Technical Engineer \u0096 Commercial is responsible for commercial tire market quality and performance to support BSMEA sales within our dedicated markets. The successful candidate will work directly with the technical and sales teams and distributers to provide technical support to resolve quality issues and performance issues from identification to escalation and technical support, this will include the training of relevant counterparts within distributors. The effective management of product claim handling system to deliver quick and transparent process is also of vital importance. In addition after sales tire follow up and tire regulation related technical document preparation is scope of this role.\nMain responsibilities\nBe accountable of the commercial tire market quality and performance visualization.\nNot only reports incidents internally but also investigates root cause of problem.\nSupport QA functions to identification of all defects, also facilitates improvement with other internal functions such as, manufacturing, R&D, and Quality Assurance teams to prevent reoccurrence\nEnsure reporting to the BSEMIA Head Office \/ TCE \/ BSJ \/ TCJ about the different technical topics relative to our product quality and performance\nCollaboration and communication with relevant stakeholders (e.g. sales, product planning, marketing)\nCoordinate tire technical support to distributor to resolve tire quality and performance related technical inquires, arrange technical training.\nManage and further improve product claim handling system with IT and local vender.\nEnsure after sales tire monitoring program implementation and continuous improvement, together with summary report making and problem detection.\nMaintain tire regulation related technical document, such as certification and test report with internal stakeholders in , certificates and test reports up to date, communicate with other internal functions.\nRequired capabilities\nCollaborative and supportive mindset\nAbility to prioritize, good planning and organization\nAbility to work autonomously while keeping strong communication with colleagues and key stakeholders\nAble to learn & use new software quickly\nExcellent Analytical Skill\nProactive\nEager to travel and work in the field directly with customers\nThinks benefits rather than features\nCoordination and Teamwork\nProven ability to train and coach\nExperience\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in tire industry within technical segment\nExperience of account management and technical sales\nProficient in MS Office (Excel\/PowerPoint\/Word\/Power BI)\nEngineering University Degree holder\nFluency in English, Arabic advantageous\nDisclaimer\n\nDiversity and inclusion are a central part of Bridgestone EMEA\u0092s values at the highest level.
