Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Store Clerks. As a Store Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, and assisting with various tasks to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. If you have a passion for helping customers, organizing merchandise, and contributing to the smooth operation of a supermarket, we encourage you to apply and become an integral part of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide information about products, prices, and in-store promotions.
• Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, ensuring products are well-organized and faced.
• Check and rotate the expiration dates of products to maintain freshness.
• Assist customers in locating products and making purchase decisions.
• Operate cash registers, handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
• Bag groceries and assist with carrying items to customers’ vehicles.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including cleaning aisles, carts, and checkout areas.
• Ensure the store is well-stocked by replenishing inventory as needed.
• Handle customer returns and exchanges following store policies.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a retail or supermarket setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
• Friendly and positive attitude with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift and carry grocery bags and perform stocking tasks.
