We’re looking for a Senior Specialist Logistics Optimization to join the team and focus on growing our own Grocery Store “tMart”, which is the region’s first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq!

The main purpose of this role is to improve customer experience by enhancing last mile operations that includes store dispatch to rider delivery to customer.

What’s On Your Plate?

This role will own several logistics KPIs with the goal of constantly improving performance while being the go-to person for solving the major operational & logistics problems encountered
Closely monitor our Tmart logistics performance and develop a deep understanding of the problems faced on a day-to-day
Working end to end on last mile of tmart logistics in terms of operations, process design, product development
Set direction to improve operational performance while continuously identifying opportunities for improvement whether by introducing automation or through designing better processes
Develop a great understanding of our logistics products and adequately leverage their functionality in tmart operations and customer experience
Drive the execution of these plans in collaboration with country operation and logistcs team
Provide effective communication to influence internal and external stakeholders
Develop various actionable logistics dashboard with anlaytics team
Develop SLAs and targets of various KPIs and align the local team

What Did We Order?

Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years of experience in a fast-paced environment
Extremely organized and process-driven
Analytical skill set demonstrated by an advanced proficiency in GSheet, MS Excel, Data studio
Strong problem solving abilities

Track record of gettings things done while managing a heavy workload effectively by setting priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills across a set of stakeholders
Understanding the FoodTech logistics KPIs is a plus
