Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Social Media Manager to join our veterinary clinic in Dubai. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to promote our veterinary services, engage with our online community, and drive brand awareness. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of social media platforms, possess excellent communication and marketing skills, and have a genuine passion for animals and veterinary care.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute social media strategies and campaigns to increase brand visibility, engage with clients, and promote our veterinary clinic’s services.
Create and curate high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Monitor and manage the clinic’s social media accounts, including daily postings, responding to comments and messages, and maintaining a consistent brand voice.
Implement social media advertising campaigns to drive traffic, increase followers, and boost engagement with the clinic’s target audience.
Collaborate with the clinic’s team to gather content, including veterinary professionals, clients, and patients, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Utilize social media analytics tools to track and measure the effectiveness of social media efforts, identify areas for improvement, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to the management.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to optimize the clinic’s social media presence and maintain a competitive edge.
Engage with the online community, respond to inquiries, comments, and reviews promptly and professionally.
Build and maintain relationships with influencers, bloggers, and online communities to expand the clinic’s reach and enhance brand reputation.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social media strategies align with broader marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Provide recommendations for social media content, campaigns, and promotions based on audience insights and market trends.
Monitor online veterinary industry trends, news, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for content creation and engagement.
Implement social media crisis management strategies when necessary, addressing any negative feedback or comments in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferably in the veterinary industry or healthcare sector.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices, particularly Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content tailored for different platforms and target audiences.
Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics) to measure performance and generate actionable insights.
Solid understanding of social media advertising and targeting capabilities to optimize campaign performance.
Passion for animals and veterinary care, with knowledge of common pet health issues and treatments.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Creativity and ability to think outside the box to develop unique and innovative social media campaigns.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in crisis management and handling online reputation management is a plus.
Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in Arabic would be an advantage.
