Based at our Dubai headquarters, the Business Analyst team works across the full breadth of the global GAC Group, within each business area, market and region. We serve as a liaison between business and IT by facilitating communication and determining software objectives that align with stated and unstated business needs. We support development teams in building software capabilities with the highest business and customer impact.

Job requirements

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team. For this, you need to demonstrate:

Experience determining the explicit and implicit needs of various stakeholders.
Ability to quickly learn the objectives, structures, operations and policies of a new business area.
Strong problem resolution, negotiation, and influential skills.
Strong ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes.
Proven interpersonal skills and an ability to influence senior leaders and peers.
Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills.
Experience with agile development methodologies and planning tools such as Jira.

As a Senior Business Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

Obtain a deep understanding of relevant business area(s) to recommend solutions and build high-quality requirements.
Shape business requirements by making recommendations and suggesting alternatives to proposed solutions.
Understand technical options, limitations, costs, dependencies and risks. Communicate trade-offs to business partners and work with them to shape requirements accordingly.
Help resolve competing priorities between stakeholder groups by facilitating stakeholder discussions and escalate where appropriate.
Create artefacts as appropriate, including business case documentation, scope documentation and process flows.
Support delivery teams as they develop, test and deploy solutions.
Mentor, guide and support other Business Analysts as necessary.

You will primarily be working with:

Digital Product Manager of Finance and Digital Product Manager of Tariff, Products and Services
Stakeholders and customers in the business area of Finance and Operations
Scrum Masters, Project Managers, Developers and Business Analysts in your team

We prefer that you have:

A relevant BA qualification such as CBAP or similar
5-7 years of relevant BA experience
Experience of working in a Financial function, in Logistics or in a similar area
Residence in the UAE
