Sales Engineer

General Summary of Position

This position is accountable for achieving the sales and profitability goals. Demands to collaborate with Sales and Account Management to identify and create winning sales strategies and new product opportunities. Measures of success include new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, up-selling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction and contribution to overall sales team and business success.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development and achievement of sales Targets of the assigned region.
  • Focusing on growing and developing and manage existing customers and new customers as well.
  • Adding new clients to the company database, and generate maximum business from them.
  • You will act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions of the company.
  • Procure feasible enquiries and offer solutions to convert into sales.
  • Support and manage the distributors/clients in technical & product knowledge.
  • Meet the Consultants, MEP contractors, End user, key accounts, systems integrators.
  • Coordinate Payment collections from customers as well for deliveries.
  • Provide product information and new products launched to customers.
  • Gather and provide competitor information like pricing, activities, technical information.
  • To provide right quotes to customers in terms of price, payments terms, deliveries.
  • Following up the quotes and Negotiate the price and terms of sales with customers.
  • Get product approval requirements of respective markets and coordinate to achieve them.
  • Coordinate with sales coordinators for deliveries, with accounts for payments.


  • Handling sales in East African (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda)
  • Must have 5 Years of SALES experience in firefighting or MEP products
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business graduate
  • Expert in MS office package and CRM.
  • Added advantages for UAE Driving license holders.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Languages preferred – English and Arabic
  • Ability to Work Under pressure
  • Target Oriented and sales driven .
  • Possess Excellent presentation skills
  • Objection handling and Negotiation Skills
