Due to continued growth, Barco is expanding its worldwide sales organization. We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record to join our sales team as Product Support / Helpdesk Engineer for our Healthcare business in the Middle East market.
You will work with the sale team drive sales using your technical knowledge, your technical account management skills, sales ability, and a strong customer-first focus. Were looking for a creative professional who can both take and give direction. He or she will work closely with our Sales Manager and Territory Managers to achieve the desired targets.
Key Responsibilities
Learn the technical details concerning Medical Display Products and Solutions.
Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education and demo support as required and help Barco and Partner sales teams with the preparation of tender documents.
Offer support to customers on technical related matters and become trusted advisor for all critical accounts and prospective customers.
Provide first line helpdesk assistance to End Users and Partners
Provide QA instruction and connectivity to End Users allowing them to take full advantage of our QA Web platform.
Utilize data metrics in QA platform to engage Barco sales teams, partners, and end users, thereby reviewing their project plans
Create, manage and execute on support contracts
Identify potential end users; work with the Barco and Partner sales teams on planning and organizing sales opportunities
Manage customer relations by soliciting and logging client feedback
Gather and interprete customer requirements. Determine the best solution in collaboration with the Product management team.
Identify areas where we can improve customer satisfaction and repeat business, then communicate those issues and possible solutions to upper management.
Position may require up to 70% travel in region. (EMEA)
Attend, manage and participate in all required shows, meetings and training sessions.
Be familiar with connectivity including inputs/outputs in relation to our products and be able to troubleshoot with customers as needed.
Remain up to date on local regulations in the assigned region
Qualifications
5-year experience in a consultative selling environment, preferably in the Medical Display Technology Industry
Good understanding of Medical Imaging Display Technology, Solutions and Eco System
Experience in network configuration (e.g. VPN setup, firewall configuration, routing) is preferred
Excellent relationship management, communication and presentation skills
Familiar with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
Technical curiosity and a natural flair for technical application
Ability to break down technical concepts into more user friendly terminology
Knowledge of customer service principles and techniques with the ability to analyze and interpret customer requirements, identify issues and problems, and offer appropriate action plans towards resolution.
Bachelor degree required; Degree in Engineering or Radiography is a plus
Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus
Experience with Radiology devices or components is a plus
