Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Logistics Assistant. As a Logistics Assistant, you will provide support in coordinating and executing various logistics activities to ensure the smooth flow of goods and materials within our organization.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments, including verifying contents, preparing documentation, and arranging transportation.

Maintain accurate records of inventory, ensuring stock levels are properly monitored and reported.
Assist in managing warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and organizing goods.
Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Track and monitor shipment schedules to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any delays or issues.
Assist in managing inventory levels, conducting regular stock counts, and reconciling discrepancies.
Coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers to arrange transportation and track shipment status.
Assist in analyzing logistics data and generating reports to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Follow and enforce safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics or supply chain certification is a plus.
Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment is preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
Familiarity with shipping and customs regulations is a plus.

Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required.
Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends based on operational needs.
