Job Description\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Inspector - Logistics to join our team! In this role you will utilize your expertise and technical knowledge in construction site logistics inspection, including matters relating to health and safety. s.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nResponsible for reviewing contractor\u0092s traffic management and logistics plan as well as monitoring the implementation on site according to relevant authorities\u0092 standard.\nObserves and inspects construction logistics performed by contractors, reviews traffic management and logistics plans, prepares detailed daily activity and progress reports, and participates in site coordination meetings with contractors for site improvement and safety. \nPrepares and maintains materials inventory in the designated client storage area and facilitate movement on site for receiving and releasing materials.\nInspect and determine deviations from general compliance with approved project Logistics Management plan and contract documents; clearly and professionally inform the contractor of required corrections.\nReviews submittals and other construction documents and recommends technical solutions.\nRegularly attends and participate in construction meetings, safety meetings\/updates and project site coordination meetings.\nMonitors and documents contractor resource utilization (labor, materials, and equipment) for field changes, and time and material work and assist with negotiation of basic field construction changes.\nVerify equipment and materials installation for compliance to approved permits and NOCs.\nMaintain and update monitoring chart for logistics site issues, incidents reports, and provide updates for close out.\nWhile performing daily inspections, inspector will be required to ensure Parsons\u0092 project safety guidelines are being met.\nReport to the Logistics Manager and will be primarily based in the field and provide regular updates on daily site logistics activities.\nPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring\nAssociate degree or bachelor\u0092s degree in a technical, engineering discipline or construction related field, or a high school diploma and equivalent work experience, is required.\n5+ years of related experience and technical qualification in construction and supervision of projects particularly in the field of logistics and HSE.\nRequires a comprehensive knowledge of logistics, engineering and construction related processes, as well as industry practices.\nMust possess excellent verbal and written communication in English and preferably Arabic.\nProficiency with basic computer usage, Microsoft Office, Project Management Software.\nCurrent UAE driver\u0092s license, safety program certificate such as NEBOSH, environmental management certificate, first aid certificate\n\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring\nTeam player and flexibility\nProblem solving mentality\n\nMinimum Clearance Required To Start \n\nNot Applicable\/None\n\nParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
