As a Human Resources Manager, your primary responsibility is to support and oversee various Human Resources functions within the organization. You will collaborate with management and staff to ensure effective implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Main responsibilities:
Responsible for the visa process for new employees and the visa renewal process for existing employees
Collect required documents from new and existing employees
Submit documents to DMCC when required
Medical insurance application for all new and existing employees
Maintain employee files until they are updated with all required documents – whether electronic or hard copy
Participate effectively in the recruitment process, by publishing advertisements, conducting preliminary interviews for the recruitment process, submitting files, and managing the recruitment process
Preparing joining forms and employment contracts for new employees
Work closely with various departments, and participate in an advisory role in assisting line managers in understanding and applying policies and procedures
Track the end date of the attendance period and assist the line manager when needed with the appropriate attendance meetings and ensure that the required papers are available (attendance form and attendance letter)
Ensure that the human resources system is updated with correct and appropriate information for each employee
Provide reports when needed to senior management on new jobs, departures and HR projects
Assisting in the process of receiving and training new employees, along with the hiring manager
Planning staff events and preparing budget when needed
Assisting employees in booking airline tickets and hotels through our travel provider
Assisting the employee in booking the annual personal airline ticket upon request
Ensure that the necessary elements of information technology are available to new employees with the IT department
Hold final interview meetings when needed
Key Deliverables:
Adhere to the set schedule for closing HR tasks.
Hold final interview meetings when needed.
Participate in internal and external training sessions regularly to ensure you are able to perform your role efficiently.
This is you
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
Demonstrable experience in a HR/Recruitment role or similar
Deep knowledge of HR practices
Proficiency in Word and Excel programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as customer service skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills and methodical approach to problem solving
A strong minded individual who can ensure that HR policies are communicated and adhered to by all across the company effectively
Experience of DMCC rules and regulations essential
