Head of Sales
Lead and motivate a high performing sales team
Managing Key Accounts and devising strategies to increase revenue across the portfolio
Achieving revenue targets for events and wider product offerings, with a real focus on digital and sponsorship
Setting and managing delivery against targets for the sales teams
Creating and implementing sales plans for the portfolio
Identify development areas and new business opportunities for the portfolio
Support and promote sales excellence across the portfolio through coaching, training and sales system usage
Preparing sales forecasts, pipeline management and reports for the portfolio
Working closely with internal stakeholders (operations, marketing, finance, pricing, Brand leadership) to ensure successful delivery
Overseeing revenue collection via credit control teams, and managing debt forecasts
Contributing to the strategy of the portfolio
Ideal candidate profile:
Proven track record of sales and management within a B2B environment
Experience of Value Based Selling
Success in achieving high-level targets for a large-scale event and/or online business
Experience of people management, building and maintaining customer relationships and delivering growth
Market knowledge of the travel industry preferable but not necessary
Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels essential
Passion for results and target driven
Experience of working in a highly competitive, dynamic marketplace
Strong knowledge and usage of Sales systems (Salesforce)
