Job Purpose:\n\nThe Job holder is primarily responsible for preparing monthly, half yearly and annual accounts of DP World (DPW) Group\u0092s accounts. He is also responsible for the preparation of Ports and Free Zone World (PFZW) Group\u0092s Monthly, Half Yearly and Annual Financial statements and to support the external audit process. The job holder will also carry out IFRS research as required to support the needs of the organization. This includes working with Corporate Finance, Business Development and Treasury on acquisitions, restructuring and refinancing accounting matters at Corporate Office as well as with the Regions.\n\nKey Accountabilities:\n\nResponsible for DP World Group consolidation and Port and Free Zone World Group consolidation.\nPreparation of monthly IFRS reporting pack for DPW\nPreparation of the half-year and annual consolidated financial statements for DPW and PFZW.\nProvide financial information on a need-basis to the Boards of DPW and PFZW.\nEnsure adequate process controls are in place to ensure the smooth consolidation of the Group accounts.\nCapable of analysing and identifying the figures reported by the various entities and capable of efficiently rectifying any issues.\nSupport the implementation of Oracle Fusion and FCCS for assigned entities and the seamless integration of DPW Group entities in Fusion to FCCS.\nReview Balance Sheet of reporting entities on a quarterly basis.\nDeal with component auditors in resolving queries and assisting them in timely completion of audits.\nEnsuring all requirements of Government auditors are met accurately and in a timely manner.\nCoordinate with all regional offices and holding companies in respect of all accounting matters.\nAct as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World\u0092s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World\u0092s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nQualifications, Skills and Experience:\n\nBachelor\u0092s degree in Accounting \/Finance\/Commerce.\nChartered Accountant \/ Certified Public Accountant is a must.\nAt least 10 years of post-qualification experience in global\/multinational organisation involving global consolidation of accounting function.\nPrior experience in Big 4 auditing firm is a must.\nUp-to-date knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).\nAbility to work within strict timelines and under pressure.\nA self-starter with a professional attitude and a desire to take responsibility to see all tasks through to a satisfactory conclusion.\nGood working knowledge of ERP Systems such as Oracle Fusion and FCCS is a must.\nExcellent communication skills in English.\nABOUT US\nWe are the leading provider of worldwide smart end-to-end supply chain logistics, enabling the flow of trade across the globe.
