Global IT Networking Manager Job Description

Develop and execute a comprehensive global network infrastructure strategy aligned with the overall business goals.
Identify opportunities to optimize network performance, enhance scalability, and improve reliability, ensuring high availability across all locations.
Lead and manage a team of network engineers and technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
Design and implement network solutions, ensuring adherence to industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory compliance.
Monitor network performance, proactively identify and resolve issues, and ensure optimal network availability and performance.
Implement robust network monitoring tools and establish proactive maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and mitigate risks.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring high-quality service delivery and effective issue resolution.
Implement and enforce network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to safeguard data and systems.

You possess an unwavering passion for driving change and a relentless drive to explore new possibilities. You are constantly envisioning what the future holds for network infrastructure. You have a knack for spotting opportunities, identifying trends, and leveraging emerging technologies to shape a progressive and future-proof networking framework.
You have 10-12 years of experience, with prior experience in designing a global robust network, SD-WAN, and Network Security.
You have extensive experience in global network infrastructure management, including design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
You have led a team of about 10-15 individuals, as well as managing external vendors.
You have demonstrated experience in network architecture design, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
