Job Description:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Document Controller. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing company documents, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and facilitating efficient document retrieval. The Document Controller will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and organization of our business records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, organize, and maintain electronic and hard copy document filing systems
- Ensure that all documents are correctly labeled, filed, and stored
- Implement and enforce document control procedures and policies
- Coordinate document approval, review, and distribution processes
- Track and monitor document changes and revisions
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely document submissions
- Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for audits
- Provide training and support to staff on document control processes
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Document Controller or in a similar role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in using document management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of document control principles and best practices
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in records management is a plus
