This is a senior digital sales position focused on solution selling Thales digital banking & payment solutions into existing and new accounts. The role will be required to locate, qualify, propose, and close deals in an effective and efficient manner. Applicant must have an ability to understand business, technical needs and the overall payment eco system, and then map Thales technologies to those business needs

The ideal candidate must have a strong banking & payment background and be capable of technical selling direct to customers or in some cases through partner and resellers. Experience in Cloud and/or cyber security will be added advantage.

Roles And Responsibilities

Reaching and exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.
Manage and close sales opportunities with Thales account sales through accurate forecasting, account and opportunity planning, account resource allocation and opportunity management.
Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Thales digital banking & Payment solutions and associated technologies
Build solution pricing and proposal based on inputs from product line team.
Preparing and presenting answer to RFI, RFQ and RFP with collaboration of internal stakeholders such as core/issuance sales, field marketing and product line team.
Develop and maintain competitive knowledge on industries and products with marketing and product teams

Work Experience Requirements

5+ years’ work experience as manager selling/consulting solutions & services, preferably for financial institutes
Experience in a FinTech, Financial institutes or at least a technology company is highly recommended. The applicant should have decent level of understanding of payment eco systems: issuers, acquirers, processors … etc.
Strong understanding of Digital Payments & Banking ecosystem including regulatory requirements.
Strong understanding of Network Tokenization.
Experienced in selling direct and managing with partners.
Experience in Cloud solution or cyber security will be added advantage.

Qualification, Certification & Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT/ Engineering/Business or relevant – Masters preferred
Preferred Skills
Hunter attitude, with proven track record of successful sales development in green field
High competence in project and stakeholder management, as the digital sales responsibility starts from identifying the lead , driving the pre-sales activities , closing the deal and providing support for the professional services team during the project delivery
Competent IT/Technical background is necessary.The digital sales will lead the RFP/RFI responses for the technical part
Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
