Job description
The Main Purpose of the job is:
Updating port tariff and rebates
Maintaining and updating port cost calculator
Updating Port tariff Master file, Port/Terminal information & restrictions
The role is to co-ordinate with Principals, on-site client representatives and port operations. The job contributes by taking responsibility for collecting and analyzing port cost data to recommend operational and commercial improvements for internal processes, business projects and automation.
Key Areas of responsibilities:
Responsible for updating all the port cost templates, port tariff, agency agreement, rebates/discounts in web portal.
Responsible for maintaining port cost calculators for worldwide ports basis vessel categories and cargo.
Responsible for providing cost estimates, port & terminal information and updated tariffs to Principals based on the requirements for their prospective voyage.
Responsible for keeping Master Data file updated with respect ports costs, port tariff, port and terminal information, agency agreements, third party/vendor agreement.
Supporting Management team during tender and execution of new projects.
Responsible for collecting and analyzing data to recommend operational and commercial improvements for internal processes, business projects and automation.
Responsible for preparing various statistical reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Ensure customer and organisational service levels and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved.
Maintain good relationships with key stakeholders to promote the organization’s best interest.
Job requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Other Requirements:
Minimum 2 years hands-on experience managing port disbursements, port/ terminal information and port tariff, agency / third party agreement and familiar with statement of facts (SOF)
Graduate from a recognized university
Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken.
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Effective negotiation and team management skills
Good skills in complete MS Office packages especially MS Excel.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at the same time
