Job Description\nParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Assistant Resident Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to perform several aspects of the O&M management, scheduling, document review, field inspection and reporting of activities for several projects.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nPerforms difficult and complex O&M assignments involving the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects of the O&M project.\nMaintains first level quality assurance to confirm to O&M of all work within his\/her discipline in accordance with the plans, specifications, and industry standards. \nSupervises the O&M work and serves as the task lead for the PMC O&M efforts.\nSupervises scheduling, document review, field inspection and reporting of O&M activities for several projects on designated sites and community facilities.\nProvides schedule and progress appraisal report to the Supervisor.\nProvides technical review and approvals of the contractor\u0092s deliverables such as Delivery Plans, Emergency Plans, Logistics and Resource Plans, O&M reports and Handover Plan.\nMonitors material procurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness in support of O&M activities and schedule within the assigned discipline.\nEnsures that materials received meet specifications and established standards of quality.\nOrganizes the accumulation of assigned discipline data for the final handover \/ turnover and report.\nInitiates and maintains records, back charge procedures, progress reports, etc., as required.\nInterfaces with the PMC team, client and upper-level management. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.\nPerforms high-level management, commercial reviews, and reporting consolidation of the O&M Team\u0092s activities.\nDevelops O&M schedules and monitor\u0092s progress.\nProvides resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline(s); coordinates application of solutions.\nReviews and interprets discipline design drawings and specifications to ensure current revision level and correct technical execution of the work.\nEnsures that personnel of the assigned group engage in safe work practices in compliance with site specific safety procedures and industry standards.\nEstablishes and maintains liaison with the PMC team.\nMonitors and coordinates all contractors' activities for assigned projects and area. Collaborates with O&M management to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employees.\nSupervises O&M Inspectors, ensuring that tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with approved procedures.\nARE shall report to the Resident Engineer and interfaces with the relevant Authorities designated PM.\nMaintain a daily diary or daily report of O&M activities and consolidate those of inspectors; ensure timely reporting of consequent findings and issues to the Resident Engineer and provide expert advice as necessary.\nPreparation of reports, minutes of meetings etc. related to the works\nCoordinate with the Contractor, if assigned by the Resident Engineer, on matters of scheduling and application of resources.\nAssist Resident Engineer in reviewing of O&M Plan, O&M Checklist, method statements and assets condition reports .\nConvene and chair special meetings with the client, authorities, contractors and other parties related to his work as may be appointed by the Resident Engineer.\nWhat Required Skills You'll Bring\nBachelor's Degree in engineering or construction-related field, or equivalent as well as 15+ years of experience in delivering, O&M of Utilities and Infrastructure projects, preferably in the GCC region.\nExperience in the large O&M programs is preferred. Requires a comprehensive knowledge of O &M processes, as well as industry practices. Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, a familiarity with PC software packages typically associated with O&M and facilities management and the proven ability for performing in a lead capacity of a O&M program.\nRigorous experience of management asset condition surveys and preparation of reports\nPrior working experience on ADM projects is desired.\nMust be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and O&M relevant software.\nMust have a sound knowledge of contractual relationships.\nWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring\nExcellent team player and Problem-solving approach\n\nMinimum Clearance Required To Start \n\nNot Applicable\/None\n\nParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
