Assistant Manager- Business Consulting- Supply Chain

As new markets open up and technology advances at an exciting pace, the world of supply chain and operations becomes more complex. At the same time, customers are well aware of the importance of effective and sustainable management of operations to their global success. We are currently aiming to recruit a Senior Consultant / Associate Manager to join our team. As a supply chain and operations professional, you’ll use your analytical insight to drive our clients’ global business performance. You will collaborate as part of a high performing business team to deliver exceptional customer service and assist leading organizations in improving their planning, design, procurement, material sourcing, manufacturing, completion, operations and service processes.

Your primary responsibilities

Using your knowledge and experience, you will create innovative business insights for customers, modify methods and practices to fit the needs of business teams and cultures, and contribute to driving business value. You will actively contribute to improving process efficiency on internal projects and initiatives.

The skills and attributes required for success

To qualify for the role, you must have:

Strong supply chain experience with a focus on supply chain transformation (3 to 5 years of work experience), demonstrating proficiency in at least one core supply chain management areas (e.g. enterprise asset management, logistics/execution, planning/inventory, manufacturing, or purchase)
Previous consulting experience is preferred. Experience in supply chain transformation in industry/sector is acceptable.
Education and/or qualifications in supply chain, and an outstanding academic record
Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills
Prepare to travel across the region

Better yet, you should also have

Familiarity with leading supply chain solutions and ERP systems and/or experience or passion with digital solutions and trends
Passion for entrepreneurship and the ability to identify business opportunities and sell different services/products
Spoken Arabic
