Accounts Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including journal entries and general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and reports to support accounting functions.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and other financial reports.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Respond to internal and external queries related to accounting and finance matters.
  • Support other accounting tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors or accountants.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
