Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial documents.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including journal entries and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and maintain spreadsheets and reports to support accounting functions.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets, and other financial reports.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
- Respond to internal and external queries related to accounting and finance matters.
- Support other accounting tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors or accountants.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
