About the job
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Company based in Head Office to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
Proven experience (5+ years) working as an Accountant or Senior Accountant in a corporate or public accounting environment.

Key Skills

Financial Management:

Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and transactions.
Conduct regular financial audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
Monitor financial performance and provide insights to management for informed decision-making.

Develop and implement financial controls and processes to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

General Accounting:

Perform complex accounting tasks, such as reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end/year-end close processes.
Ensure adherence to accounting principles and company policies in all financial activities.
Review and approve accounting transactions and reports prepared by junior accounting staff.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of financial transactions and processes.

Financial Analysis:

Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and trend analysis.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts

Duties & Responsibilities

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and modeling.
Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
